JOE DADIOMOFF

UNITED STATES SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND

About Us

Joe Dadiomoff is an elite leader with over two decades of distinguished Special Operations service in the United States Marine Corps and U.S. Army. With extensive experience in leadership, ground combat, aviation, and joint special operations, Joe built a career on the principles of resilience, strategic decision-making, and adaptive leadership in high-pressure environments.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business Marketing from James Madison University, Joe commissioned as a U.S. Marine Corps Officer through the Officer Candidate School program in 2002. Over the course of a dynamic military career, he accumulated deep expertise across multiple leadership roles, including serving as an AH-1W Cobra attack helicopter pilot, Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC), AH-6M Little Bird attack pilot, and instructor for Special Operations Forces.

A key highlight of Joe’s service was his time as a Marine with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), where he flew the highly specialized AH-6M Little Bird and served as Program Manager and Standardization Officer for the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Forward Airborne Controller (Airborne) program. His leadership extended beyond the cockpit, as he was selected to serve at Naval Special Warfare Development Group as a JTAC Instructor and Evaluator, further honing his skills in joint operations and training and deploying with the next generation of special operators.

Joe later served as a Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army, where he continued to contribute as a Regimental Flight Lead, Standardization Instructor Pilot, and Program Manager, responsible for building and leading teams in complex missions, critical aviation and special operations programs. His leadership philosophy, shaped by over 20 combat deployments and extensive training through some of the military’s most elite programs, focused on cultivating high-performance teams capable of thriving in uncertainty and operational complexity.

His approach is informed by the same principles that guided his success in special operations: adaptability, precision, and the ability to lead in dynamic, high-stakes environments.
